Quilled Air Freshener Cover

I don’t like my air fresheners to look like air fresheners so I made a quilled cover from Ring Coils …

First make the air freshener cover with Ring Coils

… and then had lots of fun filling in the panels with lacy quilling, which will disguise the pot, but not restrict the pretty pong!

I will give it a couple of coats of spray varnish so I will only need to blow the dust off occasionally.

You can see information about spray varnish on my blog, and we can demonstrate its use at the Quilling Guild’s Anniversary Celebration in Liverpool in August.  You can have a go yourself.  http://quilling-guild.weebly.com/liverpool-2013.html

Jane, this is such a fantastic idea…..and ring coils are one of my favourite quilling shapes. I love all the different quilled shapes you have used and the all white design too. Licia
